HIIT & HYROX

Fit House Denver | HIIT

You know what it is – HIIT is hard AF in the moment, but worth the calorie burn all day long! You can expect a well rounded combination of weights and cardio to efficiently and effectively increase cardiovascular endurance & build total body strength.

HYROX represents the next level of HIIT by evolving the concept of short bursts of exercise into a standardized, high-stakes fitness race that tests both raw strength and cardiovascular endurance. By alternating 1-kilometer runs with specific functional stations like sled pushes and wall balls, it transforms traditional interval training into a measurable, competitive sport that demands total-body mastery.​ Fit House Denver is an official HYROX affiliated gym. 

The Breakdown

Iron Engine Wednesday - The focus is learning how to sustain Zone 2 for longer stretches. These workouts are designed build your stamina while giving you a midweek recovery day while still pushing yourself. Using ski ergs, assault bike, rowers, medicine balls, boxes, sand bags and more, Zone 2 is anything but easy. â€‹

Threshold Interval Friday  - This one will challenge you! Each move is short (60-90 seconds) but you should be pushing as hard as you can for as long as you can during that time. The goal is to spike your heart rate, hit your threshold, quickly recover, then keep going.

Fusion & Race Day Sunday  - Get ready for the beast! We up the time from our normal 40 minutes and add a full 30 minutes so we can combine heavy lifts, threshold cardio, lots of mobility & balance and everything in between to challenge you to the max. We'll also be hosting HYROX sims and other race prep events along with benchmarking to help you hit your goals and race times.
